This property is a three bedroom converted stone farm building set in farmland five miles outside the village of Gifford, in East Lothian. The conversion was completed six years ago, which is when Mr Cowan bought the house. The kitchen leads out to a large south facing garden and there is also a sizeable vegetable garden.
The gabled orangery is designed to follow the roof line of the property, and has been added to the east side of the kitchen. It features classic large cornice entablature, solid moulded corners and the four pane mullion sash design. The random stone base wall blends seamlessly with the existing surroundings.
